Hi.

My name is Elissa.

I'm a failed church kid.
Washington state transplant.
My mom thinks I'm funny.

I have a heart for the lonely, the new kids, those who feel invisible in a crowd.
Mental health is on my heart.
I’m learning to accept the rain and be resilient.
Jesus is my long-time friend and savior.
Learning to find beautiful in the broken.

That’s me, Elissa. Let's be friends.

  3. Oh, love your bio! What do you mean by failed church kid?

I love that you want to pursue dancing professionally - what does that look like exactly. for you at least? I love dancing and do it whenever I can and am currently taking hip hop lessons. And my current novel in progress that I'm writing is called LET ME MEET DEATH DANCING, a novel about relationships, breakups, life, identity, and dancing all centered around a conservative Christian girl.

Can't wait to see more of your blog . . . I didn't see a way to follow?
